40 Scholarships
We're striving to support 40 students with scholarships to help cover basic expenses so they can pursue their dreams of creating a brighter future for themselves through education.
Join us in helping a student open the way to realizing their full potential!
A Lasting Impact
Last year, supporters across the Mission Without Borders partnership funded more than 500 student scholarships. Here in Canada, supporters funded 32 scholarships.
This year, we're inviting Canadians to do it again, and to go further and fund 40 scholarships, allowing even more students take some of the first steps to ending the cycle of generational poverty for their families.
Join us and open the way to opportunity.
✏️ Open the way to skills and qualifications.
✏️ Open the way to meaningful work.
✏️ Open the way to greater independence.
✏️ Open the way to choices.
$1,500 funds an average student scholarship. Every gift helps open the way to a brighter future.
Open the way to a future where poverty doesn't get the final say
When students are forced to end their education too soon due to lack of resources, the consequences can extend far beyond a missed degree or qualification.
Young adults with limited education and few employment opportunities can find themselves with very few choices. They can face unstable or poorly paid work, pressure to leave their families and communities in search of employment, or even greater personal vulnerability to people offering opportunities that aren't what they seem.
In the countries where Mission Without Borders works, poverty and a lack of genuine employment opportunities are among the factors that can leave people vulnerable to human trafficking and exploitation. False job offers can be used to target people who are simply searching for a way to support themselves.
Education doesn't eliminate every risk. But it can open more doors.
A Mission Without Borders scholarship gives motivated young adults the opportunity to continue studying, gain skills and qualifications, and increase opportunities available to them as they enter adulthood.
That's why Mission Without Borders invests in education.

The average scholarship is approximately $1,500. Each one represents an opportunity for a young adult to continue taking steps toward the future they're working to build.
All donations will be used for Mission Without Borders approved programs & projects; any gifts to a fully funded program will be directed to support other Mission Without Borders programs in Eastern Europe where help is most urgently needed.
