Why I'm Runnin the Road2Hope this year:
Christmas is a special time of year, and I believe poverty shouldn't be a barrier for families to experience and celebrate the miracle. However, the reality for many living on the edge in Eastern Europe means there is often barely enough food and supplies to last a month - the idea of having special meals for the holidays, or having guests is often out of reach.
Christmas is about celebrating and sharing the generosity of God's love and I want to help ensure families have what they need without worrying the cupboards will run bare later in the month.
Cheer me on as I run the Road2Hope Hammer Challenge (a 5k, 10k, AND the Half Marathon) and help families in need celebrate the joy of Christmas without worry.
